Investment projects implemented by ORLEN Termika S.A. co-financed from the European Funds
Maintaining the position of the leading heat manufacturer on the Warsaw market and creating new business areas requires measures based on profitable investments as well as alternative sources of financing. Available EU aid funds related to innovation and energy transformation are perfectly suited to the implementation of ORLEN Termika’s S.A. investment tasks aimed at improving profitability and diversifying its fuel portfolio.
Adapting its investment plans to the current possibilities of external funding, ORLEN Termika S.A. is obtaining aid funds for the following projects:
financing from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management
- Construction of a flue gas condensation system downstream of the K1 boiler in the Siekierki CHP Plant. Generating a new heat stream without the use of additional fuel by recovering waste heat from the biomass boiler flue gas and using it in the district heating system of Warsaw
- Construction of a heat bank in the Żerań CHP Plant with a capacity of approx. 60,000 m3 with a system of pumping stations and pipelines supplying cold and hot water
under the Smart Growth Operational Program 2014 –2020
- Local National Solar-Hydrogen Combined Heat and Power Plant.
under the IPCEI (Important Project of Common European Interest)
- Innovative system for the production of green hydrogen using the renewable energy facility in the Siekierki CHP Plant and its utilization in transport
under Horizon 2020
- RELaTED – low and ultra-low temperature district heating systems
under the Operational Program Infrastructure and Environment 2014 – 2020
- Construction of a gas-fired cogeneration system in the Przemyśl CHP Plant
under the Operational Program Infrastructure and Environment 2007–2013
- Construction of Wet Flue Gas Desulphurization Unit for boilers K14, K15, K16 in the Siekierki CHP Plant (MIOS I)
- Implementation of the “Construction of Wet Flue Gas Desulphurization Unit for boilers K5, K6, K7, K10 and K11 in the Siekierki CHP Plant” project (MIOS II)
- Construction of Flue Gas Catalytic Denitrogenation Unit for boiler OP430 No. 10 in the Siekierki CHP Plant
